🎥 Production-Ready Film Package

12-Month Contract Only

Your Complete Launchpad from Script to Greenlight

When a big studio (like Warner Bros., Universal, Disney, etc.) is getting ready to make a major film, the pre-production phase can cost anywhere from $500,000 to $2 million+, depending on the scale of the movie. For huge tentpole films (think Marvel, Star Wars level), pre-production alone might even hit $5 million or more.

Pre-production is everything before cameras start rolling — basically laying the whole foundation so that the production phase goes smoothly.

Here’s what a typical pre-production package usually includes:

1. Script finalization and development

  • Paying screenwriters for rewrites and polish drafts.

  • Hiring a script doctor (sometimes expensive big names) if needed.

2. Budgeting and scheduling

  • Line producers and production managers build detailed budgets and shooting schedules.

3. Casting

  • Casting directors and early actor contracts (especially for lead roles).

4. Concept Art and Storyboarding

  • Visual development artists, storyboard artists, pre-vis (pre-visualization) teams create early looks at characters, environments, key scenes, etc.

5. Location Scouting

  • Hiring location managers and scouts to find shooting locations.

  • Sometimes even paying deposits to reserve places.

6. Hiring Department Heads

  • Director of Photography (DP)

  • Production Designer

  • Costume Designer

  • VFX Supervisor

  • Composer (sometimes early involvement if score is key)

7. Set Design and Construction Planning

  • Designing early sets (sometimes building them if complex).

  • Miniatures or test builds for complicated set pieces.

8. VFX Pre-Production (for heavy VFX films)

  • Creating early CGI models, tech scouting.

  • Figuring out complex shots with special effects houses.

9. Insurance and Legal

  • Production insurance quotes.

  • Legal clearances, chain of title paperwork (to prove the studio actually owns the script/IP).

10. Early Marketing Materials (sometimes)

  • Mood boards, sizzle reels, or teaser materials for early internal studio pitches or shareholder previews.

Quick examples:

  • "Deadpool" had an animated pre-viz action scene leaked that helped greenlight the movie. That animated scene was a pre-production investment.

  • "Avatar" had one of the longest pre-productions ever, with YEARS of design work and new tech development.

So in short:
📝 Script + 🎬 Crew + 🎨 Visual design + 🎭 Casting + 🛠️ Planning + 🧾 Legal = Pre-production package.

For a small indie film, pre-production might be $50k - $200k.

For a studio film, it’s easily $500k - $2M, and for huge blockbusters, pre-production can rival the entire budget of a smaller film.

Designed for serious filmmakers, production companies, and studios ready to move into full-scale production with confidence. This package delivers a complete, professional-grade foundation — ensuring your project is protected, creatively sound, financially viable, and pitch-perfect for investors, distributors, and studios.
